C4ISR Systems Solutions Architect (Expat)

About the role

L3Harris Communications & Spectrum Dominance is seeking a senior Scientist to act as a C4ISR Systems Solutions Architect in Abu Dhabi. This 3‑year expat position involves designing end‑to‑end C4ISR architectures, integrating cutting‑edge technologies and supporting joint operations across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design C4ISR architectures, including network‑centric communications, data models, standards and formats for ISR data.
• Integrate artificial intelligence and machine‑learning techniques to enhance data analysis and system capabilities.
• Drive customer adoption strategies for modernized C4ISR solutions and manage technical relationships with end users and vendors.
• Collaborate across sectors and segments to ensure interoperable, scalable and redundant systems, including Battle Management Systems and tactical radio networks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Electrical, Systems or Computer Engineering (or related science discipline).
• 12 years of relevant experience (or 10+ years with a Master’s degree).
• 8+ years of experience in C4ISR systems design, large‑scale battle management and tactical radio networks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Required skills

• C4ISR architecture and network design.
• AI/ML integration within C4I environments.
• Falcon Radio product line and military vehicle network protocols (CAN, MIL‑STD‑1553, Ethernet).
• Sensor integration (RADAR, LIDAR, EO/IR, SIGINT) and data fusion.
• Knowledge of JADC2, TOGAF or DODAF enterprise architecture standards.
• Agile software development methodologies.
