Cardiothoracic Surgeon

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE, providing advanced surgical care for heart, lung and chest diseases.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically manage cardiac, thoracic and related vascular conditions.
• Perform cardiothoracic procedures, including coronary artery bypass surgery and heart valve surgery.
• Manage thoracic conditions requiring surgical intervention, including lung and chest disorders.
• Evaluate patients, develop individualized surgical treatment plans and provide pre‑operative assessments.
• Deliver post‑operative care, monitor patients in intensive care and manage complications.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient safety.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery or equivalent specialty.
• Significant post‑specialisation surgical experience preferred.
• Strong surgical judgment, clinical leadership and communication skills.
