Medical Science Liaison Oncology

About the role

GSK is hiring a Medical Science Liaison for its Gulf Oncology programme, reporting to the Medical Affairs Manager, Gulf. The role covers the medical and clinical aspects of GSK Gulf in the assigned therapy areas, including oncology and onco-hematology, and is based in Dubai. Applications close on 29 October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Drive scientific exchange with healthcare professionals to improve their understanding of GSK's data and support optimal patient care in the Gulf
• Capture scientific insights from the external environment to support research and medical strategy
• Identify investigators and sites for clinical trials and recruit participants
• Attend congresses, organize advisory boards, and coach other MSLs on field medical work
• Support clinical research programming, including investigator-sponsored, cooperative group, collaborator and company-sponsored trials
• Represent management in field interactions, build relationships with external experts and partners, and partner with Medical Affairs functions
• Maintain a compliant, supportive partnership with the Sales team and manage programs within scope, schedule and resources

Required profile

• Medical doctor, medical degree or life sciences degree; postgraduate study is an advantage
• Evidence of MSL experience in therapeutic oncology, preferably lung or gyn-oncology within the last 2-3 years
• Understanding of the local healthcare environment, including health technology assessments and market access
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical ethics, governance and compliance policies
• Experience with product launches, commercial and/or government payers, and extensive travel across the Gulf and globally
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
