Chartering Manager

About the role
Join DSV's Global Ocean Chartering Desk in Dubai and help expand the company's footprint in the Middle Eastern and Indian project chartering market. You will work closely with regional DSV offices and global colleagues to manage project cargo bookings and develop carrier relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Handle chartering requests and bookings for regional offices, collaborating with local and worldwide DSV teams.
- Travel across the Middle East, Indian subcontinent and Africa to visit project offices and attend customer meetings.
- Build and maintain a strong network with carriers, acting as the primary contact for the chartering market.
Required profile
- Several years of chartering experience with an established industry network.
- Experience booking project cargoes on multipurpose vessels.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Required skills
- Knowledge of BIMCO contracts such as CONLINE BOOKING NOTE, GENCON, NYPE and BALTIME.
- Familiarity with terms and conditions related to multipurpose vessel chartering.
