Children Activity Assistant

About the role

The Children Activity Assistant works within the youth program of a hotel in Dubai, contributing to its goal of providing fun, educational and caring services to the children of members and guests in a warm and welcoming environment. The role involves building rapport with children and parents, running everyday activities and promoting the club's youth programs.

Key responsibilities

• Build rapport with children and parents and take a genuine interest in them
• Organize arts and crafts time, lead games, read stories and sing songs
• Promote youth programs and help parents register for them
• Keep facilities and equipment clean, neat and well maintained
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to the manager and complete safety training and certifications
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist individuals with disabilities and speak clearly and professionally
• Follow company policies, keep proprietary information confidential and protect company assets
• Comply with quality assurance standards and perform other reasonable duties as requested

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required
• CPR certification and First Aid certification required
• Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
