Civil Inspector

About the role

NAGA is looking for an experienced Civil Inspector to join its Site Supervision team. The Civil Inspector will monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure works are executed in line with approved shop drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans, contract requirements, applicable standards, and good construction practices.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved project requirements, shop drawings, method statements and ITPs.
• Verify that only approved materials are used on site and that material test results meet project specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, daily logs and site reports, ensuring proper documentation of results.
• Coordinate with contractors and the supervision team regarding inspection activities and technical requirements.
• Report non‑compliant works or materials to the relevant supervision team for corrective action.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil Construction or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction and consultancy supervision, especially residential buildings and villa projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE applicable codes, standards and construction requirements.
• Proven experience in site inspection, quality control and documentation.
