Civil QA/QC Inspector – Overhead Transmission Line

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil QA/QC Inspector to join the TAQA Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) Project in Baniyas and KIZAD, Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that all civil construction activities meet project specifications, quality standards, client requirements, and international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections of civil works related to OHTL projects.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Review and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and related documentation.
• Conduct material inspections and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve quality issues and prepare QA/QC reports.
• Monitor non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and project teams during inspections.

Required profile

• B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification (mandatory).
• 5–10 years of QA/QC experience, preferably on OHTL projects.
• Experience in India and/or GCC projects is preferred.
• Immediate availability, especially for candidates on a UAE Visit Visa or cancelled visa.
