Commercial Coordinator

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai is seeking a Commercial Coordinator to support its Commercial Sales team. The role acts as a liaison between sales, events and hotel departments, ensuring smooth operations and helping achieve commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support to Sales and Events teams, handling proposals, contracts, banquet event orders and related documentation.
• Serve as the central point of contact for internal hotel events, liaising with relevant departments to ensure seamless execution.
• Assist with site inspections, client appointments and act as first point of contact for external sales and events enquiries.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel or Business Management with at least 2 years’ sales experience in a luxury 5‑star hotel.
• Strong organisational abilities, able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Fluent English; GCC experience and additional language advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Delphi for booking management, reporting and database maintenance.
