Commercial Director

About the role

Fisher HR is recruiting a Commercial Director based in Dubai. The role covers commercial strategy, cost management, procurement and contracts, and leads commercial teams and external consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Develop commercial strategies and oversee project budgets and cost control
• Review project costs, forecasts and financial commitments, and identify ways to optimise costs and improve profitability
• Lead procurement, tendering and commercial negotiations
• Oversee contracts, variations, claims and commercial risks
• Lead commercial teams and manage external consultants
• Coordinate with finance, procurement, project management and legal teams
• Report commercial performance and risks to senior management

Required profile

• 15-20 years of relevant commercial experience
• Mandatory experience in real estate development projects
• Proven experience in senior commercial management
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, Finance or a directly related discipline

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, tendering and contracts
• Strong leadership, negotiation and financial analysis skills
