Commissioning Superintendent - Mechanical (Rotating)

About the role

KBR is looking for a Commissioning Superintendent (Mechanical, rotating) with offshore site experience in MEGA EPC projects, based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project. The role covers the progress of commissioning activities in the sales gas and condensate area.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with licensors and vendors so that commissioning stays within their guidance procedures.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, and commissioning manuals issued by the EPC contractor or vendors.
• Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for systems and subsystems, and verify system readiness for MC and RFSU certificates.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning issues.
• Provide advice and support to the Senior Commissioning Manager.
• Monitor and approve the close-out of punch lists and ensure the completion and handover methodology complies with contractual documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• At least 18 years of relevant experience in a commissioning or operation readiness position, with GCC experience preferred.
• At least 5 years in a similar position on Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, with preference for sour gas, hydrogen production and hydro-desulfurization projects.
