Construction Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Construction Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the organization, staffing, and daily operations of district warehouses and stores supporting construction projects. This role ensures efficient material flow, safety compliance, and optimal space utilization across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate staffing, work plans, and operational activities for district warehouses and stores.
• Develop and implement goals, policies, and safety guidelines; investigate injuries or unsafe conditions.
• Monitor material usage, maintain accurate inventory records, and design facility layouts for maximum storage efficiency.
• Create delivery schedules, drop‑shipment strategies, and coordinate activities with external agencies.
• Select, train, motivate, evaluate, and, when necessary, discipline assigned personnel.
• Prepare staff reports, correspondence, and present findings to management.
• Stay informed on emerging trends and innovations in warehousing and storage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in supply chain management, business, or industrial engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong decision‑making ability to weigh costs and benefits of actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for negotiations with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
• Analytical mindset to identify performance indicators, diagnose complex problems, and develop effective solutions.
