Construction Manager

About the role

Legend Dragon Building Contracting L.L.C. seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead site construction activities for a commercial/residential building project in Dubai. The role involves day‑to‑day execution, coordination of teams and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily site construction activities across civil, structural, architectural, finishing and MEP works.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, subcontractors, materials, plant, equipment and site resources.
• Convert the project programme into practical daily and weekly work plans and monitor progress, productivity, quality and performance.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, engineers, suppliers, foremen and labour teams.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and consultant instructions.
• Oversee excavation, shoring, raft foundations, concrete works, blockwork, plaster, façade, MEP coordination, testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.
• Maintain site records, daily reports, progress photos, inspection status and site instructions.
• Enforce safety requirements and report risks, delays, quality issues and decisions to the Project Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of construction experience with building contractors, including at least 3–5 years in a Construction Manager, Senior Site Engineer or Site Manager role.
• UAE/GCC building construction experience, preferably on commercial/residential projects of B+G+5 or higher.
• Strong contractor‑side execution experience from substructure to handover.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of building construction sequence from excavation to handover.
• Ability to read and understand architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD and BIM coordination (advantage).
