Construction Superintendent – Electrical (Oil & Gas)

About the role

The Construction Superintendent – Electrical will lead the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems for large‑scale oil and gas projects in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures all electrical works comply with project specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the complete electrical installation, testing and commissioning process on major offshore and onshore projects.
• Manage hook‑up activities, brownfield modifications and EPC deliverables.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with ADNOC and other client specifications.
• Supervise subsea cable and piping interfaces and offshore island electrical systems.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety and cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electrical from a recognized university.
• Minimum 17 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in offshore/onshore construction.
• 5 + years in EPC or PMC roles on mega‑projects, preferably within the oil & gas sector.
• Proven experience with hook‑up, brownfield modifications and subsea cable/piping works.
• Previous involvement in ADNOC projects is an advantage.
