Consultant Anaesthetist (UK CCT) – Full-Time

About the role

A leading UAE healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist holding a UK CCT to join its specialist team. The role involves delivering comprehensive peri‑operative anaesthesia services across elective and emergency procedures while upholding the highest standards of patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level anaesthesia for elective and emergency surgeries.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments and develop individualized anaesthetic plans.
• Administer general, regional and other appropriate anaesthetic techniques.
• Manage airway, haemodynamic monitoring and peri‑operative care, including high‑risk cases.
• Deliver post‑operative pain management and monitor patient recovery.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in resuscitation services.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, nurses and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with UAE healthcare regulations.
• Participate in clinical governance, teaching, training and quality‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• UK CCT in Anaesthetics/Anesthesia.
• Specialist registration with the relevant UK medical authority.
• Substantial post‑CCT clinical experience (preferred).
• Experience in a tertiary‑care or teaching hospital environment (advantage).
• Eligibility for DOH (Abu Dhabi) medical licensing.
