Consultant Anesthesiology

About the role

The Consultant Anesthesiology position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Dubai. You will deliver comprehensive anesthesia services from pre‑operative assessment through intra‑operative management to post‑operative pain control, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑operative assessments, plan and administer general, regional, and sedation anesthesia.
• Monitor patients intra‑operatively, manage emergency responses, and oversee post‑operative pain management and recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, nursing staff, and other specialists, and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, comply with local regulations, contribute to audits, and engage in continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Recognized medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialist training and board certification in Anesthesiology.
• Valid or eligible UAE license for anesthesiology practice, with willingness to complete local licensing.
• Proven experience in high‑volume or tertiary surgical centers, including critical care settings.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice, clinical governance, and teaching or mentoring activities.
