Consultant – Corporate Support and Operations Audit (Internal Audit) – UAE National

About the role

We are seeking a UAE national to join our Internal Audit department as a Consultant focusing on corporate support and operations audit. The role involves evaluating internal control systems, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across governance, risk and compliance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and enhance internal control systems for corporate support services, identifying critical audit areas and recommending improvements.
• Support budgeting and resource planning for audit execution, and contribute to executive plans and roadmaps for governance and compliance.
• Conduct audit engagements to verify efficiency, effectiveness, and legal compliance of financial, administrative, contractual and operational activities.
• Prepare performance reports, propose process improvements and monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
• Manage consultant contracts and supervise external auditors for specialized tasks.
• Deliver training, coaching and knowledge-transfer programs to build internal audit capabilities.
• Participate in internal committees, best-practice forums and special assignments from senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 9 years of experience for Master’s holders or 11 years for Bachelor’s holders in internal audit, corporate governance or related fields.
• UAE national.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA/CA, CISA, CGAP or knowledge of IIA standards.
