Consultant Critical Care Physician – UAE (High Salary)

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its high‑acuity ICU and multidisciplinary critical care services. The organization seeks an experienced Consultant Critical Care Physician to join a modern, quality‑driven clinical team serving a diverse international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Lead management of critically ill medical, surgical, trauma and postoperative patients in the ICU.
• Provide advanced organ support, including mechanical ventilation, haemodynamic management, renal support coordination and sepsis care.
• Perform critical care procedures such as airway management, central venous access and invasive monitoring.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary rounds with consultants, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and allied health professionals.
• Communicate with families, facilitate goals‑of‑care discussions and support ethical decision‑making.
• Contribute to ICU protocols, infection prevention, clinical audits, simulation training and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Critical Care Physician with recognised qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/FFICM/MRCP, European Diploma, Royal College Canada, Australian CICM, Arab Board, etc.).
• Eligibility for UAE licensing and facility credentialing.
• Strong clinical judgement, commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills with culturally diverse patients and teams.
