Consultant Family Medicine Physician (Western Trained) – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a Western‑trained, Board‑Certified Consultant Family Medicine Physician to join a prestigious healthcare provider in Dubai. This full‑time position offers the chance to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centered primary care within a modern, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, including preventive, acute, and chronic care.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions using evidence‑based practices.
• Conduct routine health assessments, annual physical examinations, and preventive screenings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate specialist referrals.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular conditions.
• Offer women’s health, men’s health, geriatric, and adolescent services within Family Medicine scope.
• Promote preventive health through education, lifestyle counseling, immunizations, and wellness programs.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in line with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality‑improvement initiatives, CME, and departmental meetings.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Accredited residency training in Family Medicine.
• Board certification from USA (ABFM), Canada (CCFP), UK (CCT/MRCGP), Australia (FRACGP), New Zealand (FRNZCGP), Ireland (MICGP) or another DHA‑recognized Western board.
• Minimum 5 years post‑board experience as a Consultant/Attending Family Medicine Physician.
• Eligibility for or possession of a Dubai Health Authority Consultant licence.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
