Consultant Oncologist – UK CCT & American Board Qualified

About the role

A leading hospital in Dubai is seeking an experienced Consultant Oncologist to deliver comprehensive cancer care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of solid tumours and haematological malignancies.
• Develop and implement personalised treatment plans using chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy and hormonal therapy.
• Participate in tumour board meetings and collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists and palliative‑care specialists.
• Provide patient and family counselling, monitor treatment response and adjust therapies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and contribute to clinical audits and research.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) and postgraduate training in Medical or Clinical Oncology.
• Board certification or fellowship in Oncology (UK CCT, US Board, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialty clinical experience managing diverse cancer types.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills and commitment to evidence‑based practice.

Required skills

• Expertise in systemic cancer therapies: chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
