Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

About the role

SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join a leading hospital in the UAE. This full‑time position is ideal for internationally trained specialists holding American Board Certification.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically manage conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and oral and maxillofacial structures.
• Perform dentoalveolar surgery, complex tooth extractions, and impacted tooth removal.
• Manage facial trauma, maxillofacial fractures, and associated soft‑tissue injuries.
• Conduct corrective jaw surgery for dentofacial deformities and skeletal discrepancies.
• Treat oral and maxillofacial cysts, benign tumours, and related surgical conditions.
• Assess and manage temporomandibular joint disorders within specialist scope.
• Provide surgical management of infections involving oral cavity, jaw, and facial structures.
• Collaborate with orthodontists, restorative dentists, ENT specialists, plastic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct comprehensive pre‑operative assessments and deliver post‑operative care and follow‑up.

Required profile

• Medical degree, dental degree, or recognised professional qualifications for the specialist pathway.
• American Board Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery accepted by UAE health authority.
• Substantial specialist‑level experience in oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex maxillofacial cases.
• Eligibility for Consultant‑level professional licensing in the UAE.
