Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering comprehensive orthopedic care, managing complex musculoskeletal conditions, and performing surgical procedures within your area of expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct orthopedic consultations, assessments and follow‑up appointments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop individualized surgical and non‑surgical treatment plans.
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures within the scope of practice.
• Review and interpret imaging and diagnostic investigations.
• Provide post‑operative care and ongoing follow‑up.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Mentor junior medical staff.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Eligibility for Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon classification under UAE regulations.
• Valid DOH licence or willingness to complete licensing process.
• Relevant post‑specialization clinical experience.
• Strong surgical, clinical, communication and decision‑making abilities.
