Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist to deliver primary and specialized care to children with gastrointestinal conditions. The physician will diagnose, treat, and guide patients and families through a range of health issues, ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Examine pediatric patients, take detailed medical histories, and address concerns.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and gastrointestinal disorders.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, explaining results to patients and families.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication and therapy prescriptions.
• Provide counseling on diet, hygiene, preventive health, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, refer to specialists when needed, and ensure compliance with medical regulations such as HIPAA.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed residency and internship.
• Valid state license and certification to practice medicine.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of pediatric illnesses.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
