Consultant Pediatrician – Sharjah, UAE

About the role

The leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its pediatric services and seeks a Consultant Pediatrician to join a multidisciplinary team in Sharjah. The role offers exposure to outpatient, inpatient, preventive and developmental care for infants, children and adolescents within a modern, quality‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive medical care to patients from birth to 18 years in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Diagnose and manage common paediatric conditions, growth concerns, infections, asthma, allergies and developmental issues.
• Provide immunisation, preventive health advice, nutrition counselling and family education.
• Coordinate care with neonatology, paediatric subspecialists, emergency medicine and allied health teams.
• Identify acutely unwell children, initiate safe admission or referral pathways, and ensure compliance with UAE regulatory and safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Internationally trained paediatric specialist holding a recognised qualification (e.g., American Board of Pediatrics, UK CCT/MRCPCH, European Board, Royal College of Canada, Australian FRACP, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and communicate effectively with patients and families.
