Consultant Pulmonologist – Private Hospital, Dubai

About the role

A leading private hospital in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Pulmonologist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care for adult patients. The role involves diagnosis, treatment, and long‑term management of a wide range of pulmonary conditions using evidence‑based practices.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases, infections, sleep‑related breathing disorders and respiratory failure.
• Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, imaging studies and bronchoscopy procedures.
• Provide respiratory care for critically ill patients in collaboration with intensive care teams.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust therapies based on patient response.
• Mentor junior physicians and participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate training in Pulmonology or Respiratory Medicine with board certification or fellowship.
• Minimum 5 years post‑specialty experience as a Consultant Pulmonologist.
• Extensive experience in complex respiratory case management and bronchoscopy.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
