Consultant / Specialist Psychiatrist – Tax‑Free Role in Dubai

About the role

We are partnering with a premier JCI‑accredited healthcare group in Dubai to recruit a Consultant/Specialist Psychiatrist. This tax‑free position offers the chance to work in a modern, multidisciplinary environment, delivering patient‑centered psychiatric care while shaping the future of mental health services across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations, risk evaluations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions such as mood, anxiety, psychotic, personality, and substance‑use disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that combine pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention and acute psychiatric care when required.
• Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, social workers, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans and medications, and ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation in line with DHA and international standards.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, CPD initiatives, and service development projects.

Required profile

• Board certification (ABPN, UK CCT/GMC, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, FCPS, MD/DNB/DM) with 3‑5+ years post‑board experience preferred.
• Eligibility for a DHA licence or an active DHA licence.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team.
