Consultant/Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician – Dubai (Tax-Free)

About the role

A leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai is expanding its emergency and acute care services. The position offers a tax‑free opportunity for a board‑certified Emergency Medicine physician to join a high‑performing, multidisciplinary emergency department serving an international patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Rapid assessment, diagnosis and management of acute medical, surgical and trauma cases.
• Stabilisation of life‑threatening emergencies including cardiac, respiratory, neurological and trauma conditions.
• Perform airway management, intubation, resuscitation, wound care, fracture stabilisation and procedural sedation.
• Lead advanced life support, cardiac arrest and trauma response teams.
• Utilise point‑of‑care testing, imaging and laboratory investigations for swift decision‑making.
• Coordinate admissions, referrals and discharge plans with specialist teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to evidence‑based protocols.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement and emergency preparedness programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years post‑specialist or board certification experience.
• Recognised emergency medicine qualification (American Board, UK CCT/FRCEM/MRCEM, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FACEM, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FNB/DrNB/FCPS or equivalent).
• Eligibility for DHA/DOH/MOH licensing (support provided).
