Senior Accountant – Credit Control

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Credit Control ensures that customer payments are strictly followed and proactively manages debt collection on assigned portfolios. The role supports compliance with credit policies and assists senior management in executing an effective credit control function.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accurate collection of payments and coordinate with sales teams to ensure payment information is correctly uploaded.
• Review and verify security deposit collections, update collection records weekly, and reconcile payments in the Kezad system.
• Send customer statements, follow up on overdue payments, and resolve disputed invoices with billing/commercial departments.
• Escalate doubtful dues to management for bad‑debt provisioning and prepare ad‑hoc reports as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
• At least 4 years of experience in Accounting & Finance, preferably in transportation or related industry.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle Financials.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
