Country Manager - Luxury Retreats

About the role

Luxury Hideaways, part of DEECKE HOLDING, offers private retreats in exclusive destinations. It is looking for a Country Manager to drive commercial success, operational excellence and strategic growth in South Africa and across an expanding international portfolio, including the planned expansion to Mauritius in 2026 and the Seychelles in 2027. The position is based in Dubai, UAE, with frequent travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and business development: lead direct sales, trade partnerships, agent relations and corporate accounts, and represent the brand at trade events and fairs.
• Revenue management: oversee pricing, rate management and channel distribution to maximise RevPAR, and work with the COO on targets, budgets and forecasts.
• Operations and leadership: provide strategic direction to the team, act as the main link between the UAE office, property teams and DEECKE HOLDING, and support the onboarding of new properties.
• Stakeholder management: build relationships with government entities and industry bodies, and collaborate with marketing, finance and operations teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 8-10 years in luxury hospitality, with at least 3 years in a senior commercial or leadership role.
• Proven track record in sales, business development and revenue management in the luxury segment.
• Experience managing multi-property portfolios or working within a luxury hotel group or private retreat collection.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and P&L management.
• English C1/C2 (mandatory); German is an advantage.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of the hospitality and luxury travel market, with a network of trade and corporate contacts.
• Solid understanding of OTA channels, channel management and distribution strategies.
• Entrepreneurial, strategic and resilient, with strong leadership and communication skills.
