Cyber Security & IT Infrastructure Manager (Server & Network)

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is seeking an experienced Cyber Security & IT Infrastructure Manager (Server & Network) to lead the organization's IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures the security, availability and performance of enterprise IT systems, including servers, networks, cloud services and security technologies, and calls for a hands-on technical leader who can also lead a team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, virtualization, backup), including LAN/WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, VPNs and Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange and Microsoft 365.
• Administer backup, recovery and disaster recovery solutions, and MDM and endpoint security platforms.
• Develop and maintain the cybersecurity strategy, policies and procedures, and lead security assessments, vulnerability management, threat modeling and security audits.
• Manage security monitoring, incident response, IAM (provisioning, access reviews, MFA) and PAM, and promote cybersecurity awareness.
• Lead, mentor and manage the IT infrastructure and support team, taking part in recruitment, training and performance management.
• Develop IT policies and procedures, manage the IT infrastructure budget, and work with stakeholders and vendors on IT projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
• Proven experience managing enterprise server and network environments and leading IT teams in medium to large organizations.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Exchange and Microsoft 365.
• Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, endpoint security and network security.
• IAM and PAM, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Virtualization, storage systems and infrastructure monitoring.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware or ITIL are an advantage.
