Deputy Regulatory Compliance Officer (ADGM)

About the role

Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem, is seeking a Deputy Regulatory Compliance Officer to support its compliance framework within the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). The role focuses on ensuring adherence to ADGM and FSRA regulations and fostering a culture of compliance across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and monitor a compliance framework that meets all applicable ADGM and FSRA regulations, including MIR, GEN, COBS, PRU, and the AML Rulebook.
• Review and advise on policies, procedures, controls, and governance arrangements to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Act as the principal point of contact with the FSRA for all compliance‑related matters and lead responses to regulatory audits, RFIs, and inspections.
• Prepare and submit regulatory returns, notifications, and periodic reports as required by the regulator.
• Ensure the function is independent, has sufficient authority and resources, and reports directly to senior management and the board.
• Meet fit‑and‑proper requirements and accept personal liability for regulatory breaches within the area of responsibility.

Required profile

• 10 years of experience in regulatory and compliance roles within financial markets, cryptocurrency exchanges, or stock exchanges.
• Strong knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks and experience working alongside regulators; familiarity with FSRA rules is a plus.
• Technical expertise in surveillance tools and related technologies.
