Dietitian Intern – Outpatient Nutrition Center

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Dietitian Intern to join our outpatient, wellness‑focused nutrition center. This 6‑month internship offers hands‑on experience in client assessments, personalized nutrition planning, and community education under the supervision of a licensed Clinical Dietitian.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including dietary intake analysis, anthropometric measurements, and lifestyle evaluations.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized nutrition plans for weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular health, food intolerances, gut health, and sports nutrition.
• Provide one‑on‑one counseling and coaching using behavior‑change techniques such as motivational interviewing.
• Design and lead group workshops, cooking demonstrations, and corporate wellness seminars.
• Track client progress, document sessions, and adjust plans based on feedback and outcomes.
• Create educational materials, meal plans, and social media content to promote center programs.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Dietetics/Nutrition program in the UAE, US, UK, Canada, Australia, or EU.
• Strong foundational knowledge of clinical nutrition, weight management, and preventive health.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to tailor nutrition advice to diverse cultural, religious, and personal preferences.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Eligibility for DHA registration and a Good Standing Certificate.
