Director of Engineering & Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering & Operations to lead engineering, infrastructure, asset management and facilities operations across a large‑scale, complex property portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering operations, technical governance and maintenance strategies across multiple facilities.
• Drive asset reliability, lifecycle management, preventive maintenance and operational efficiency.
• Manage contractors, service providers, operational budgets and performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Oversee project commissioning, technical handovers and operational readiness.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, HSE and relevant ISO standards.
• Promote sustainability, energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related discipline).
• Minimum 14 years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years in people management.
• Strong background in Engineering Operations, Facilities Management, Infrastructure or large‑scale property operations.
• Proven experience managing complex, large‑scale facilities and infrastructure portfolios.
• Professional certifications such as CEng, CIBSE, IFMA or PMP are advantageous.
