Electrical Engineer – Electromechanical Projects

About the role

Careers International is hiring an Electrical Engineer in Dubai for the civil construction sector. The position suits someone with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in the electromechanical industry, with practical exposure to electrical systems used in electromechanical projects and installations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, installation, testing and maintenance of electrical systems
• Work on electromechanical equipment, panels and control systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Support troubleshooting and fault-finding activities
• Coordinate with mechanical and site teams during execution
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering
• 1 to 2 years of experience in the electromechanical industry (mandatory)
• Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, motors and control systems
• Preferred: site experience in electromechanical projects
• Preferred: basic knowledge of HVAC, MEP or automation systems
• Preferred: familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards
