Electrical Supervisor

About the role

Careers International is hiring a full-time Electrical Supervisor in Dubai within civil construction. The role covers planning, coordinating and supervising electrical work on assigned projects, leading a team of electricians, apprentices and assistants, and ensuring quality, safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, plan and coordinate electrical work so that tasks are completed on schedule and within budget
• Conduct regular site inspections to confirm compliance with electrical codes, safety standards and project specifications
• Lead, mentor and supervise electricians, apprentices and assistants, assign daily tasks and guide them through complex electrical problems
• Perform quality checks on completed installations against company standards and regulatory requirements
• Enforce safety protocols, hold regular safety meetings and inspections, and ensure compliance with electrical and building regulations
• Coordinate ordering of materials, tools and equipment, maintain inventory control and track resource usage
• Maintain records of progress, materials, labour hours and incidents, and prepare regular reports on project status and team performance
• Work with other trade supervisors, project managers and subcontractors and communicate project status to the Project Manager

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical work preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical work, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Valid electrician's licence; additional certifications in safety, project management or electrical systems are advantageous
