Employee Happiness & Wellbeing Manager (UAE Nationals)

About the role

The RTA is seeking a senior HR leader to drive its employee happiness and wellbeing agenda. This role focuses on designing, implementing and measuring programmes that enhance workplace wellbeing, align with national directives and support the organisation’s strategic vision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of employee happiness and wellbeing strategies in line with RTA’s vision and UAE/Dubai government directives.
• Govern HR policies, manuals, procedures and risk controls to ensure compliance with local labour laws and international best practices.
• Shape and embed a corporate culture that promotes innovation, inclusion, transparency and corporate excellence.
• Oversee benchmarking, competitive studies and the adoption of global best practices for HR, happiness and wellbeing.
• Manage KPI frameworks related to Emiratization, employee happiness and corporate health, preparing performance reports and corrective actions.
• Direct wellbeing, work‑life balance and happiness programmes, measuring their impact on productivity and loyalty.
• Supervise grievance and complaint management, ensuring fairness, transparency and timely resolution.
• Analyse employee surveys, exit data and wellbeing metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• UAE national (as stated in the title).
• Extensive experience in HR strategy, policy governance and employee engagement.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and Dubai government directives and labour legislation.
• Proven track record of designing and measuring wellbeing or employee happiness programmes.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and report on strategic KPIs.
