Estimation Engineer - High-Rise Construction

About the role

Careers International is looking for a detailed-oriented Estimation Engineer in Dubai to prepare cost estimations and bid proposals for high-rise construction projects. The role suits someone with strong analytical and negotiation skills to handle tenders effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze architectural, structural and MEP drawings to prepare cost estimates
• Prepare accurate BOQs based on drawings and specifications
• Solicit and analyze quotations from vendors and subcontractors
• Prepare tender documents and commercial proposals
• Identify cost-saving options through value engineering
• Track market prices for materials, labour and services
• Prepare cash flow projections and cost reports
• Participate in tender meetings and clarification sessions
• Coordinate with project and procurement teams for finalization
• Maintain the estimation database and pricing history

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 5 years of estimation experience in the UAE, on high-rise projects
• Knowledge of construction materials, local market rates and labour costs
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Valid UAE driving licence required
