Estimation Manager

About the role

Careers International is recruiting an Estimation Manager in Dubai for the construction sector. The role leads the estimation team in preparing accurate cost estimates for large-scale infrastructure, power transmission or construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the estimation team in preparing accurate cost estimates for large-scale infrastructure, power transmission or construction projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
• Develop BOQs, material take-offs and cost breakdowns for civil, electrical and MEP components.
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for accurate pricing and technical clarifications.
• Work with project managers, procurement and planning teams to finalise bid strategies.
• Analyse risks and identify cost-saving alternatives or value engineering options.
• Prepare and present cost summaries and tender submissions to senior management.
• Monitor post-tender clarifications and assist in contract negotiations when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of UAE/GCC experience in estimation within Infrastructure, Power, Electrical or Construction Building industries.
• Strong knowledge of cost structures, technical drawings and tendering procedures.
• Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills.
• Available to join immediately or on short notice.

Required skills

• Proficiency in estimation software (Candy, CCS, Excel, AutoCAD)
• Technical drawing interpretation and tendering procedures
