Facilities Manager

About the role

Discovery Dunes is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of world‑class facilities management services across one of Dubai’s most exclusive private communities. The role combines strategic oversight of hard and soft FM services with a focus on operational excellence, sustainability and resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of all hard and soft FM services across the community.
• Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently achieved.
• Oversee preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Drive asset management, lifecycle planning and long‑term capital improvement initiatives.
• Manage FM budgets, cost control and value‑engineering opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, health & safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor community infrastructure, critical systems and emergency preparedness.
• Build strong relationships with residents, developers, government authorities and service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 7–10 years of Facilities Management experience, including 3–5 years within a UAE/GCC HOA or community management environment.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, CAFM platforms, contract management and asset lifecycle planning.
• Experience managing FM budgets, contractors and service level agreements.
• NEBOSH or other professional FM certifications are highly desirable.
