Finance Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to join our growing real‑estate company. The role will oversee the financial health of the organisation, drive budgeting and forecasting, and support strategic decisions with robust analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations and accounting functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow, project budgets and operational expenses.
• Analyse financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, tax requirements and accounting standards.
• Manage audits, VAT filings and coordinate with external auditors.
• Implement and improve financial controls, systems and reporting procedures.
• Track project profitability across multiple real‑estate projects.
• Coordinate with sales, operations and management teams on financial planning and reporting.
• Support business growth through financial analysis and cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA or CMA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 + years of finance and accounting experience in the real‑estate industry.
• Strong understanding of real‑estate financial operations and project accounting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, Zoho or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance.
