Finance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Officer to ensure the firm’s liquidity, capital resources and regulatory compliance. The role involves close interaction with senior executives, regulators and the accounting team to maintain robust financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the firm’s liquidity, capital resources and capital requirements comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Report any financial breach immediately to the Regulator and SEO, and record it in the company breach register.
• Coordinate with the firm’s accountant to prepare monthly management accounts for review.
• Review the firm’s financials timely and report any changes to the SEO as required.
• Oversee monthly management accounts, quarterly and annual EPRS returns preparation and submission to the FSRA.
• Assist in the completion of annual financial audits when required.
• Report to the SEO on a bi‑weekly or case‑by‑case basis and to the Board quarterly to present management accounts.

Required profile

• Prior experience as an Authorised/Approved Finance Officer for a DIFC or ADGM regulated entity.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis and budgeting.
• In‑depth understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with tax laws and corporate finance.
