Financial Director

About the role

We are a well‑established holding company seeking a Finance Director to lead the finance function of one of our portfolio companies. The role will be responsible for shaping financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and providing insight to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
• Provide insights and analysis to support business growth, cost optimisation, and investment decisions.
• Oversee and mentor finance teams to ensure effective financial management and reporting.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices across finance functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly desirable.
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
• Proven track record in strategic financial management, business partnering, and leadership.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence senior management.
• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC region is a plus.
