Floor Manager – Restaurant Service Leader

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, hands‑on Floor Manager to supervise restaurant service and deliver an exceptional guest experience. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will lead the front‑of‑house team, coordinate table and section management, and ensure smooth daily operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the restaurant floor before, during and after service, managing sections, table allocations and team assignments.
• Maintain service standards, monitor pace, table turnover and communication between front‑of‑house and kitchen teams.
• Provide a visible presence on the floor, handling guest requests, complaints and special arrangements.
• Lead pre‑service briefings, coach staff on service techniques and ensure adherence to grooming, punctuality and company policies.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in labour cost control, POS usage, billing, cash handling and stock control.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Floor Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Head Waiter or similar supervisory role.
• Background in premium or upscale dining environments.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant service standards and front‑of‑house operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership and guest‑relations abilities.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
