Full Stack Developer (Python/Django + React)

About the role

Flatgigs is a technology company building scalable applications for the gig economy, connecting freelancers and clients through efficient, user-friendly platforms. It is looking for a Full Stack Developer proficient in Django and React to design, develop and maintain both server-side and client-side components of its web applications. The role works closely with UI/UX designers and product managers, covering the whole development lifecycle from conception to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable web applications using Django for back-end services and React for front-end interfaces.
• Collaborate with the design team to turn UI/UX wireframes into responsive, efficient applications.
• Implement RESTful APIs to connect front-end and back-end systems.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability, and design architectures that support high user loads.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot and debug existing applications, and ensure mobile responsiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven full-stack development experience with Django/Python and React.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and database management systems (SQL, PostgreSQL or similar).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, able to work in a team.
