Full Stack Ecommerce Web Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Ecommerce Web Developer to design, build, launch, and maintain a premium, conversion‑focused online store. The role involves both front‑end and back‑end development, as well as implementing tracking, retargeting, and automation tools to optimise the customer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and evaluate the full ecommerce site architecture, user journey and required features.
• Develop a mobile‑friendly, fast, and secure ecommerce website using Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress or custom platforms.
• Set up product pages, collections, filters, cart, checkout, payment gateways, delivery options and order notifications.
• Integrate cookies, tracking pixels, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and other analytics tools.
• Monitor traffic sources, customer behaviour and conversion performance; configure retargeting and abandoned‑cart automation.
• Connect WhatsApp, Instagram, email forms, CRM, newsletter and enquiry forms as needed.
• Ensure SEO basics, website speed, security and overall technical performance.
• Test, launch, maintain and troubleshoot the site post‑launch.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑stack web development.
• Strong background building ecommerce sites on Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress or custom solutions.
• Experience with payment gateway integration, tracking tools, cookies, retargeting and cart recovery.
• Good understanding of UX, mobile optimisation and ecommerce conversion.
• Ability to plan the site architecture before development and recommend optimal technical solutions.
• Portfolio of live ecommerce websites; experience in fashion, beauty, luxury or retail is a plus.
