Full Stack Engineer (Django & Vue)

About the role

We are a Swiss AI‑driven logistics startup seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build and scale the web applications, APIs and platform services behind our cost‑saving, carbon‑reduction solutions for Fortune 500 customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications and RESTful APIs using Python, Django and Django REST Framework.
• Create responsive, high‑performance frontend components with Vue 3, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and the Composition API.
• Model and optimise PostgreSQL database schemas, queries and data structures.
• Implement caching, pub/sub messaging and background task queues with Redis.
• Integrate third‑party services and external customer platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, operations and fellow engineers to deliver features for enterprise users.
• Write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines and architectural discussions.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and continuously improve performance, security and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend expertise with Python, Django and Django REST Framework.
• Proficient frontend skills in Vue 3, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Tailwind.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Git and modern development workflows.
• Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns and testing.
• Clear English communication and problem‑solving abilities.
