Full Stack Engineer (GenAI Node.js)

About the role

HCLTech is seeking a highly talented Full Stack Engineer with a focus on Generative AI and Node.js to help drive innovative solutions for our global clients. You will work in a virtual‑first environment, collaborating with diverse teams across more than 50 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, highly‑available RESTful APIs using Node.js.
• Implement GraphQL services and integrate them with front‑end applications built in React.js.
• Perform performance tuning, debugging, and monitoring of distributed services.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Integrate API gateways (e.g., 3Scale) and manage authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
• Work with message‑queue platforms like AWS, Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka.
• Collaborate with product owners and senior stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Node.js, React.js, JavaScript and databases.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of containerization, CI/CD, and cloud‑native architectures.
• Experience in banking, financial services or fintech environments is preferred.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and influence cross‑functional teams.
