Full Stack Engineer (Node.js & React) – BFSI

About the role

The client, a global IT services and consulting firm, is expanding its Dubai team. They seek a Full Stack Engineer with 4‑7 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain secure financial applications for the BFSI sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable full‑stack solutions using React.js for the front‑end and Node.js (Express.js or NestJS) for the back‑end.
• Create and maintain robust, well‑documented RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Optimize performance to ensure low latency and high responsiveness.
• Integrate third‑party financial APIs, payment gateways, and core banking systems securely.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, translate BFSI business requirements into technical specifications, and present solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Explore and incorporate Generative AI (OpenAI APIs, LangChain, vector databases) to enhance features or automate workflows.
• Apply OWASP Top 10 security practices and adopt test‑driven development with automated unit and integration tests.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of professional software development experience.
• Direct experience in the BFSI domain (fintech, banking, insurance, or wealth‑management applications) is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• React.js, Redux/Context API, HTML5, CSS3

• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
• Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
