About the role
The Garment Presser ensures garments are wrinkle‑free, neatly folded or hung to professional standards using commercial pressing equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate steam irons, utility steam presses, form finishers and handheld irons on various garments.
- Inspect finished items for quality, remove loose threads and ensure no fabric damage before packaging.
- Fold, bag or hang garments securely with appropriate protective covering and barcodes/tags.
Required profile
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently to meet daily processing quotas.
Required skills
- Commercial pressing and ironing techniques for diverse apparel.
- Use of steam presses, form finishers and handheld irons.
