Junior Refrigeration Engineer

About the role

Agile Consultants is hiring a Junior Refrigeration Engineer in Ras Al Khaimah to support its client's engineering and product development activities in the manufacturing industry. The role covers refrigeration circuit design, technical drawings, simulations and prototype testing, and suits engineers who want hands-on experience in refrigeration systems and product development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and dimension basic refrigeration circuits to meet project specifications and operational requirements.
• Assist in engineering simulations under supervision to evaluate system performance, efficiency and reliability.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings for production, accurate and compliant with engineering standards.
• Conduct product testing, analyse results and help identify improvements.
• Support cross-departmental communication with engineering, production and quality teams.
• Maintain design documentation, including drawings, engineering files and product development records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of refrigeration-related experience, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
• Good knowledge of refrigeration components, system design and system operation.

The development path starts with leading small design tasks and learning simulation basics, then moves to prototype development and testing, and by year two leads small sub-projects and proposes design improvements. The salary is up to AED 5,000.
