General Accountant – Tax Experience

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented General Accountant with basic to intermediate tax knowledge to join our Finance & Accounts team in the UAE. The role supports daily accounting operations, maintains accurate records and assists with VAT compliance and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, reconciliations and general ledger entries.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and invoice processing.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management analysis.
• Provide assistance for VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain transaction records.
• Process journal entries, payments and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist during internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience as a General Accountant.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and tax regulations.
• Good analytical, organizational and English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
